South Morang joins Brunswick as the latest Victorian community to come online and experience the benefits of high-speed broadband through the NBN with more than 2300 homes and businesses now able to connect to the NBN.
The benefits of the NBN fibre network were demonstrated in South Morang today with an NBN-enabled ‘virtual coaching session’ with AFL legend Robert ‘Dipper’ DiPierdomenico and local children.

High-definition video enabled by the NBN creates opportunities for the world’s top coaches to log in to watch athletes train, analyse performances and offer advice right across the globe.
By mid-2015, fibre construction will be complete or underway to 691,600 homes and businesses across Victoria, including 16,300 homes and businesses in South Morang.
